About Therapy

Therapy in and of itself is unique. It’s a place to turn when we are in pain, having a hard time and need help.

I mostly work with adults and couples who are experiencing dissociative issues including post traumatic stress, complex trauma and grief. However I also work with depression and anxiety in its many forms (some of which are rooted in trauma and/or difficult growing up experiences).

I utilize an integrative approach that includes Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR and various forms of talk therapy that focus on attachment theory, existential therapy and spirituality. While I love these various orientations and methodologies, I am only going to utilize training that is helpful to you.

I have worked with adults, adolescents, families and couples in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am endlessly curious with how the world effects us. This means I am always seeking out additional training, reading psychological texts and collaborating with other therapists.

Psychotherapy is both challenging and exciting. I find a lot of hope in knowing that the problems we experience in life are not random.
